Malu Mare is a commune located in Dolj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. As of 2021, the commune has a total population of 7,548 people.
The administrative area of Malu Mare is composed of two villages: Malu Mare and Preajba. Historically, the commune also included the village of Ghindeni; however, Ghindeni was split off in 2004 to establish its own separate commune.
