Goicea is a commune located in Dolj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. The administrative area's existence was first formally attested in 1575.
The commune currently consists of two villages, Dunăreni and Goicea. It previously included the village of Cârna, which was separated to form its own independent commune in 2004.
