Ghindeni is a commune located in Dolj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. It currently has a population of approximately 2,264 people.
The commune consists of a single village, also named Ghindeni. Historically, it was part of the Malu Mare Commune until 2004, at which point it was officially split off to become an independent administrative unit.
