Coșoveni is a commune located in Dolj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. The administrative area currently has a population of 4,982 people and consists of a single village also named Coșoveni.
Historically, the commune included the village of Cârcea. However, this changed in 2004 when Cârcea was split off to establish its own separate commune.
