Celaru is a commune located in the Oltenia region of Romania. It is situated within Dolj County and currently has a population of 4,593 people.
The administrative area of the commune is composed of five distinct villages: Celaru, Ghizdăvești, Marotinu de Jos, Marotinu de Sus, and Soreni.
