Bratovoești is a commune located in Dolj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. It currently has a population of approximately 3,693 people.
The administrative area of the commune is composed of four villages: Bădoși, Bratovoești, Georocu Mare, and Prunet. Historically, the territory included the villages of Rojiște and Tâmburești; however, these were split off in 2004 to form the separate Rojiște Commune.
