Selaru is an island located in the Tanimbar Islands group within the Southeast Maluku region of Indonesia. It is situated to the south of Yamdena.
The island is one of the 92 officially listed outlying islands of Indonesia. While there is a location by this name in Romania, the primary geographical entity identified as Selaru is this Indonesian island.
