Pietroșița is a commune located in Dâmbovița County within the Muntenia region of Romania. As of 2021, the commune has a population of 3,006 people.
The administrative area is composed of two villages: Dealu Frumos and Pietroșița. The name of the commune is derived from the compound words Piatra and șița.
