Sfântu Gheorghe is a city located in the central part of Romania within the Transylvania region. It serves as the administrative seat of Covasna County.
The city is situated on the Olt River in a valley positioned between the Baraolt Mountains and the Bodoc Mountains. In addition to its urban center, the town administers two villages, which are Chilieni and Coșeni.
