Poian is a commune located in Covasna County within the Transylvania region of Romania. It is primarily composed of two villages: Belani (also known as Bélafalva) and Poian.
The administrative boundaries of the commune were modified in 2005 when the village of Estelnic, along with two other neighboring villages, separated from Poian to establish an independent commune.
