Estelnic is a commune located in Covasna County within the Transylvania region of Romania. It officially became an independent commune in 2005 following its separation from the municipality of Poian.
The commune is comprised of three distinct villages: Cărpinenii (also known as Csángótelep), Estelnic, and Valea Scurtă (also known as Kurtapatak).
