Barcani is a commune located in the southeastern part of Covasna County within the geographical region of Transylvania, Romania. It is situated to the south of Zagon.
The commune is composed of three villages: Barcani, Lădăuți (Ladóc), and Sărămaș (Szaramás). Historically, the area also included the village of Valea Mare, which was separated in 1999 to form its own independent commune.
