Ovidiu is a town located in Northern Dobruja, Romania, within Constanța County. It is situated just a few kilometers north of the city of Constanța.
The municipality officially attained town status in 1989 as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program. As of 2021, Ovidiu has a population of 13,968 inhabitants and is known for being a retirement destination for many wealthy residents from Constanța.
