Baciu is a commune situated in the Transylvania region of northwestern Romania. It is located within Cluj County, positioned a short distance from the county seat of Cluj-Napoca.
The administrative area of Baciu is composed of seven distinct villages: Baciu, Corușu (Nádaskóród), Mera (Méra), Popești (Nádaspapfalva), Rădaia (Andrásháza), Săliștea Nouă (Csonkatelep), and Suceagu (Szucság).
