Băuțar is a commune located in the Caraș-Severin County of western Romania. As of 2021, the commune has a recorded population of 2,229 people.
The administrative area of Băuțar is composed of four distinct villages: Băuțar, Bucova (Bukova), Cornișoru (Strimba), and Preveciori.
