Nehoiu is a town located in Buzău County within the Muntenia region of Romania. As of 2021, the municipality has a population of 9,464 residents.
The local economy is primarily centered on wood processing, supported by a lumbermill that has been in operation since the early 20th century. Nehoiu officially attained town status in 1989 as part of the Romanian rural systematization program.
