Mihăilești is a town situated in Giurgiu County within the Muntenia region of Romania. It serves as the administrative center for three surrounding villages: Drăgănescu, Novaci, and Popești.
The locality officially attained its status as a town in 1989. This designation was granted as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program.
