Gura Teghii is a commune situated in the Muntenia region of Romania. It is located in the north-westernmost part of Buzău County within the Curvature Carpathians mountain range, positioned near the borders of Covasna and Vrancea counties.
The commune consists of seven mountain villages situated along the valley of the river Bâsca Roziliei and its tributaries, which include the Bâsca Mică and Bâsca Mare rivers.
