Viștea de Jos is a village located within the commune of Viștea in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is one of five villages that comprise the administrative boundaries of the commune.
The commune also includes the villages of Olteț (Besimbák), Rucăr, Viștea de Sus (Felsővist), and Viștișoara (Kisvist). Historically, the village of Drăguș was part of this jurisdiction until 2004, when it was separated to form its own independent commune.
