Fundata is a commune located in Brașov County, Romania, within the historic region of Transylvania. The administrative area is composed of three distinct villages: Fundata, Fundățica, and Șirnea.
The region is characterized by its geographical location, which offers scenic panoramas of both the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. Additionally, the town served as a venue for the biathlon competition during the 2013 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival.
