Cazasu is a commune situated in Brăila County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The administrative area consists of a single village, which shares the same name as the commune.
Historically, Cazasu was part of the Tudor Vladimirescu Commune. It remained under that jurisdiction until 2003, at which point it was officially split off to establish itself as an independent commune.
