Vorona refers to a monotypic genus of prehistoric birds characterized by the species Vorona berivotrensis. The genus was identified based on fossilized remains discovered in a quarry within the Maevarano Formation near the village of Berivotra, located in the Mahajanga Province of Madagascar.

The specimen dates back to the Late Cretaceous period, specifically the Maastrichtian epoch. Scientific evidence for V. berivotrensis is currently limited to scattered remains, which may represent a single individual.
