Nucet is a town located in Bihor County within the western region of Transylvania, Romania. The name of the town translates to "walnut trees" in both Romanian and Hungarian languages.
The administrative area of Nucet includes two villages: Băița (also known as Rézbánya) and Băița-Plai.
