Ineu is a town located in Arad County within western Transylvania, Romania. It occupies a surface area of 116.6 km2 (45.0 sq mi) at the geographic contact point of the Crișul Alb Basin and the Crișurilor Plateau. The town is situated approximately 57 km (35 mi) from Arad, which serves as the county capital.
The town serves as the primary entrance gate into the Zărand Land region. Administratively, Ineu governs one village, known as Mocrea (Apatelek).
