Cherechiu is a commune located in the Crișana region of Bihor County, Romania. As of 2021, the administrative area has a total population of 2,248 residents.
The commune is composed of three distinct villages: Cherechiu, Cheșereu (also known as Érkeserű), and Târgușor (also known as Asszonyvására).
