Balc was a historical figure associated with the region of Moldavia in Romania. According to various historians, he is identified as the third voivode of Moldavia, having ruled approximately between 1359 and 1364.
He was the son of Sas, who served as the second voivode of Moldavia. While historical accounts identify Balc in this role, it is noted that the sequence of voivodes listed in traditional Romanian chronicles does not include a reference to him.
