Sarata is a rural settlement located in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of the Odesa Oblast in south-western Ukraine. It is situated within the Bessarabian historic district known as Budjak.
The settlement serves as the administrative center for the Sarata settlement hromada, which is one of the local administrative divisions of Ukraine. As of current records, the population of Sarata is 4,159.
