Itești is a commune located in Bacău County within the Western Moldavia region of Romania. The administrative area consists of four distinct villages: Ciumași, Dumbrava, Făgețel, and Itești.
The commune was established in 2005 following its separation from the Berești-Bistrița Commune. It serves as a rural administrative division within the county's geographic boundaries.
