Berești-Bistrița is a commune located in Bacău County within the Western Moldavia region of Romania. The administrative area is composed of four distinct villages: Berești-Bistrița, Brad, Climești, and Pădureni.
Historically, the commune included several additional villages, including Ciumași, Dumbrava, Făgețel, and Itești. However, these locations were split off in 2005 to form the separate administrative entity of Itești Commune.
