Hârtiești is a commune located in Argeș County within the Muntenia region of Romania. It serves as a rural administrative division composed of four primary villages: Dealu, Hârtiești, Lespezi, and Lucieni.
Historically, the commune included the villages of Bârzești, Huluba, and Vulturești. However, these three settlements were separated from Hârtiești in 2003 to form the independent Vulturești Commune.
