Curtea de Argeș is a city located in Romania within Argeș County. It is situated on the left bank of the Argeș River, which flows through a valley in the Southern Carpathians along the railway line connecting Pitești to the Turnu Roșu Pass.
The city serves as an administrative center and also governs one village, Noapteș.
