Vărădia de Mureș is a commune located in Arad County, Romania. It covers an area of approximately 12,600 hectares and is situated within the contact zone of the Metaliferi Mountains and the Zărandului Mountains, with portions of the territory lying in the large valley of the Mureș River.
The commune is composed of six distinct villages: Baia (Kisbaja), Julița (Gyulatő), Lupești (Farkasháza), Nicolae Bălcescu (Alsóköves), Stejar (Szarvaság), and Vărădia de Mureș.
