Șimand is a commune located in Arad County, Romania. The administrative area covers approximately 10,028 hectares and is positioned within the contact zone of the Arad and Criș Plateaus along the Canalul Morilor.
The commune consists of a single village, also named Șimand, which is situated roughly 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the county seat of Arad.
