Pecica is a town located in Arad County in western Romania. Situated approximately 25 kilometres from the city of Arad, its administrative territory extends into the Arad Plateau. The town was officially declared a town in 2004 and currently administers three villages: Bodrogu Vechi (Óbodrog), Sederhat (Szederhát), and Turnu (Tornya).
The area is recognized as an important archaeological site, having served as a Dacian fortress known as Ziridava in ancient times.
