Pâncota is a town located in Arad County within the Crișana region of Romania. It is situated in the central zone of the county at the geographical contact point between the Arad Plateau and the Zărand Mountains.
The town covers an administrative territory of 70.9 km² (27.4 sq mi) and is positioned approximately 37 km (23 mi) from the county seat, Arad. Its jurisdiction includes one village, Măderat (Magyarád).
