Hălmăgel is a commune located in the Crișana region of Arad County, Romania. It is situated within the Hălmagiu Basin at the foot of the Bihor Mountains along the banks of the Hălmăgel River.
The commune occupies an area of approximately 7000 hectares and is composed of five distinct villages: Hălmăgel, Luncșoara (Hosszúsor), Sârbi (Szerb), Târnăvița (Fazekastarnó), and Țohești (Csohosd).
