Crăciunelu de Jos is a commune situated in the eastern region of Alba County within the Transylvania province of Romania. As of 2021, the commune has a recorded population of 1,954 residents.
The administrative area currently consists of a single village, also named Crăciunelu de Jos. Historically, the commune was larger and included four additional villages; however, these were separated in 2006 to establish the independent Bucerdea Grânoasă Commune.
