Al Ghanim is a neighborhood located in the municipality of Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It constitutes a component of Doha's historic downtown area.
The neighborhood has undergone significant transformation due to large-scale reconstruction projects led by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. These initiatives were designed to clear portions of the area for the development of the Doha Metro, resulting in the relocation of many local businesses. Notable landmarks within the district include the Al Ghanim Central Bus station and the site of the New World Centre supermarket, which was established in 1987 before being moved.
