Saltos del Guairá is a city located in Paraguay and serves as the capital of the Canindeyú department. It is situated approximately 200 km north of Ciudad del Este.
The city borders the Brazilian municipality of Guaíra. These two regions are separated by the Paraná River, which serves as the international border between Paraguay and Brazil.
