Kayangel, also known as Ngcheangel, is the northernmost state of Palau. It is located approximately 86 km (53 mi) north of the country's main city, Koror.
The state covers a land area of about 1.4 km2 (0.54 sq mi) and has a population of 54 residents. The only hamlet within the state is Orukei, which serves as its capital. In 2020, Richard Ngiraked was elected as the governor of the state.
