Viseu, officially known as the City of Viseu, is a city and municipality located in the Central Region of Portugal. It serves as the capital of the district of the same name.
The municipality has a population of 103,502 inhabitants. Additionally, the city functions as the center of the Viseu Dão Lafões intermunicipal community, which has a total population of 267,633 residents.
