Cinfães is a town and municipality located on the southern bank of the Douro River in the District of Viseu, situated in northern Portugal. The municipality covers an area of 239.29 square kilometres (92.39 mi2) and maintains a predominantly rural character.

As of 2024, the municipality has a population of 17,293 inhabitants, while the town proper recorded a population of 3,080 in 2021. The local landscape is defined by rugged and uneven relief, most notably characterized by the Montemuro mountain range.
