Boticas is a town and municipality located in northern Portugal within the district of Vila Real. Situated in the Trás-os-Montes region, it covers an area of 321.96 square kilometres. As of 2024, the municipality had a population of 4,832, while the town of Boticas specifically recorded 1,540 residents in 2021.

The municipality is a member of the Alto Tâmega intermunicipal community and, alongside Montalegre, constitutes the historical and cultural Barroso region. The area is notable for its archaeological heritage, which includes Iron Age castros and the discovery of Gallaecian warrior statues.
