Caparica is a former civil parish located within the municipality of Almada in the Lisbon metropolitan area of Portugal. It covers a total land area of 11.02 km² and had a recorded population of 20,454 as of the 2011 census.
In 2013, the civil parish of Caparica merged with the neighboring civil parish of Trafaria to form the new administrative entity known as Caparica e Trafaria.
