Vila do Conde is a municipality located in the Norte Region of Portugal. It covers an area of 149.03 km2 and had a recorded population of 79,533 in 2011. The urbanized portion of the municipality consists of the parishes of Vila do Conde, Azurara, and Árvore, which together house 36,137 inhabitants.
The town is geographically interlinked to the north with Póvoa de Varzim, creating a single urban agglomeration within the Porto Metropolitan Area. Additionally, Vila do Conde serves as a location on the Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago.
