Ermesinde is a civil parish located within the municipality of Valongo in continental Portugal. It is situated approximately 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) northeast of the city of Porto.
The parish covers an area of 7.65 km2 and had a population of 38,940 as of 2011. Within its municipality, Ermesinde is characterized as the smallest parish by area and the most densely populated.
