Parede is a former civil parish located in the municipality of Cascais within the Lisbon district of Portugal. Situated on the coast west of Lisbon near the mouth of the Tagus estuary, it serves as a community positioned between the larger towns of Oeiras and Cascais.
The area covers approximately 3.6 km2 and was home to about 17,830 inhabitants in 2001. It is situated along the Linha do Estoril railway line, which follows the coastline from Lisbon toward Estoril and Cascais. In 2013, Parede merged with neighboring areas to form the new parish of Carcavelos e Parede.
