São Brás de Alportel is a town and municipality located in the District of Faro within the Algarve region of Portugal. Covering an area of 153.37 km2, the municipality had a recorded population of 10,662 as of 2011.
The local government is currently led by Mayor Vítor Guerreiro, who was elected by the Socialist Party. The official municipal holiday for the region is observed on June 1.
