Loulé is a city and municipality located in the Algarve region of the Faro district in Portugal. It serves as one of the primary administrative centers within its territory, alongside the other principal city of Quarteira.
The municipality covers an area of approximately 763.67 square kilometres (294.85 mi2). As of 2021, the total population of the municipality was recorded at 72,373 inhabitants.
