Condeixa-a-Nova

Condeixa-a-Nova, also frequently referred to as Condeixa, is a town and municipality situated in the district of Coimbra within Portugal. It is part of the Região de Coimbra and is located approximately 15 km south of the city of Coimbra.

The municipality covers an area of 138.67 km2 and had a recorded population of 17,078 in 2011. The town is notably characterized by its proximity to Conímbriga, an ancient Roman settlement featuring well-preserved ruins and an associated museum.
